Model files case against Kanye West alleging sexual abuse: He said this is art

Former America’s Next Top Model contestant Jenifer An has filed a lawsuit against Kanye West, accusing the rapper of assaulting her during the 2010 production of La Roux’s music video for In For the Kill.
As reported by TMZ, the suit alleges that West, who contributed a verse to the track, targeted An during the shoot at Manhattan’s Chelsea Hotel. According to the filing, West reportedly selected her from a line-up of women, saying, “Give me the Asian girl.”
The model was dressed in minimal lingerie for the scene, to which West allegedly commented, “That’s why I chose you.”
An claimed that during the shoot, West choked her with both hands and subjected her to what she described as “pornographic gagging.” She alleged that he justified his actions by declaring, “This is art. This is f***ing art. I am like Picasso.”
In the suit, she described how West started strangling her with both hands, and then “smothered” her face with his hands, before he “rammed several fingers down her throat, continuously moved them in and out, and gagged her to emulate forced oral sex.” She also said that this went on for more than a minute.
The lawsuit described the incident as involving elements similar to BDSM and other explicit fetishes, leaving An terrified and traumatised. She further alleged that no one intervened or came to her aid during the ordeal.
The model is suing Kanye West and Universal Music Group for gender motivated violence, as reported by TMZ.
